For about a year, I have been posting weekly on this blog. When I first made the commitment to blog once a week, it was a stretch for me. Now, that stretch has gotten easier. It’s not always easy - one week I’ll have so many post ideas that I think I should post more often, and another week I’m scrambling just to get something up on the blog. For the most part, though, it’s no longer challenging.
So, I’m going to be posting twice a week - Tuesdays and Fridays.
I have been going back and forth with this decision for a while - if I commit to post twice a week, what if
I run out of ideas? Or what if I become so busy I can’t keep up with this schedule? But I finally decided to
quite worrying about it - if I can’t keep up with the schedule, I can always go back to once a week.

As far as running out of ideas, I decided to try different types of blog posts for Fridays - things like writing and
short stories, recipes, book reviews, more personal posts, and possibly some photography (the last one
is really daunting, though!) We’ll see how this goes!

To start things off, my sister Lydia and I will be doing a weekly writing challenge for the month of August.
We compiled a list of writing prompts and are excited to try this out! Lydia will be posting her stories on her
blog here.
